With Christmas quickly approaching, along with parties, dinners, and nights out, it’s time to dust off that sparkly dress, and glam up your party look. Don’t worry - I have you covered with my three steps to a stress free look. From timeless red lips and classic winged liner, to a bold beautiful smokey eye, and for the final touch, a statement necklace from local designer, Carolily Finery.

# 1. BOLD RED LIPS – The classic red lip never goes out of style, and paired with a winged liner, you’re set to make a grand entrance.

Fair skin tones - Try a cool blue based shade like Blu Red or Cranberry LipSense. (Bonus, these shades also make your teeth look whiter!)

Medium to olive skin tones - Stick to warmer based reds like SheLaLa, and Red Cherry LipSense.

Darker skin tones – Go for plum reds to brick tones as they will have great pigmentation and not look pasty. Try Brick, Mojave, or Rhubarb.

# 2. SMOKEY EYES – If you want all eyes on you, then go for bold smokey eyes with a touch of sparkle, and pair with a soft neutral lip. For a softer look, try a brown tone, like Smoked Topaz or a deep grey like Ebony Essence. For that all out smokey eye go for a black like Onyx.

# 3. SPARKLE – Don’t be afraid to add some sparkle to your LBD, by adding a statement necklace or earrings. Accessories can help take your look up a notch from simple to glamorous.
